Carking rear spoiler suffering from hives- a sad day...

I installed my carking rear and front spoiler last weekend. Usually my car sits in the garage at home and in a carport at work. Today I left the car outside and 6 hours later I saw something that made me feel itchy...

The front splitters are fine but the rear spoiler has bubbled. I have Pm'ed Carking and all I want is a refund...

Hope you guys didnt have this problem...

other than the "hives" it looks really good, why dont you just ask them to repaint?

whoa, that's rare! Brad's products are usually top of the line. You probably already know what good service he has so it should be no problem for a refund or exchange.

but wow, that's ugly!

Those bubbles are moisture related. Happens when the primer isn't dry when the topcoat is applied or when applying paint in very humid conditions. Moisture gets trapped underneath the paint. The only remedy is to remove all the affected paint and start again.

+1

I have carking's ACS rep roof spoiler since last summer and its holding up well, their quality, in general, is up to par. I'm sure he'll take care of you. Keep us updated.
