2011 335is

Seen it at the dealer the other night. MSRP is $61K. For that price, might as well get the M, right? Wow! Incredible price for an additional 10 hp and wheels, bumper, steering wheel. Wow!

Styles50, thanks for your quip...I do know that it was more than what I originally posted. I will thank you for taking the time to either "type" or "copy/paste" everything for everyone's pleasure. Still - I'll knock it for it being $61K. I'd buy my own 335i and blow doors off the 335is for less.

Here we go with the pricing again

I paid < $55k, 335is, DCT, Premium, Convenience, Nav, iPod, Heated Seats, metalic paint. Price is $3k more than 335i with M kit.

I say good for you, the op's comment was that at 61,000 he did not feel it was a good value. It is his opinion, why does it matter? He is not commenting about your purchase.

Thats is also the Hawaii price and most likely has a high mark-up.

I wonder what Ryan paid for his 335is that's on order, I'm planning on getting one cpo in another year when my 335i warranty expires. I test drove one for shits and giggles (6 speed), I couldn't tell a difference in brakes / susp over my 335i sport. Throttle is more responsive, I liked that ,and the body kit is sex. Is it worth the extra $$? That's up to the buyer.

What's your prob, What is it to you that I say a 335is is $3k more than a 335i with M

This is an open forum site. I can comment that a 335is is a good value which is why I bought one. It's my opinion, "what is it to you".

If HI has a high markup then it should apply to all cars making a 335i not a good value or a 335i compared to 335i with M kit not a good value. Your comment makes no sense.

BTW my 335is had a MSRP of 61k which is the same as op's comment. Fact is that I didn't pay that and likely no one pays sticker/MSRP.

Lol, I really don't care what you paid for your 335is or that you bought one. Is reading comprehesion a problem for you? Read my post again.
It is not my problem you have a need to justify your purchase to people who really don't care.

lol, my last response to you ... strange little man...

My comment was based on the fact that a 335i is fairly common to see on the lot here in HI and a 335is is not, therefor a dealer can add additional mark-up based on lack of inventory for a consumer sought after product (supply vs. demand). Very similar to how gas companies are justifying high gas prices at the pumps. No offense was meant or warranted. I believe its time to switch to decaf!

Ryan didn't order one, he was bs'ing.

The brakes and suspension are unchanged. The only difference is the slight engine changes and exhaust. (and cosmetics + DCT option)

an m3 sedan costs about ~8-9k more for nearly the same options and packages. if you really want the coupe expect to add ~3k more on top of that. have you noticed the options for the m3 cost exceptionally more compared to the iS?
