The interiors are fine on the 2016's... You guys are just trying to justify BMW anymore. Lots of things have changed with Mustang and Camaro. Even a Nissan altima has a great interior these days.

$40,000 for a tin can Subaru WRX STi is absolutely asinine.... They are sheet metal on wheels... They are NOT even fast... People are complete imbeciles (most are kids 26 and under who really can't afford them) for paying such stupid prices for them. It's stunningly ridiculous....

The WRX/STIs also have a history of blowing completely stock engines fairly easily.
I know several guys that were all over the subaru bandwagon till they were on their 2nd, 3rd and one guy even his 4th engine. |

Subaru has done some amazing planning, marketing and program development to keep the resale value of their cars high. It's not something a large car company or a luxury brand could do, but they've done it very well. Along the same lines though it puts their cars in a completely oddball category that BMW doesn't compete in. I like both brands, I bought a new 2015 Outback last year as the kid wagon. The Outback is a perfectly fine car that does what I bought it to do very well, and the resale value makes it fairly inexpensive to own. It's not a BMW. I've driven a 2015 STI Limited and it's a perfectly fine car, it has a some fantastic merits. It's definitely not a BMW. Last edited by sea6speed; 04-27-2016 at 12:48 AM.. |

I left BMW because I needed more space than the E90 had and I was tired of the overly high repair costs. For the same price as a nice 5 series I picked up a 2015 Outback 3.6R Limited and a 2015 Launch Edition STI. In 10 years I will get more back for both than I would for a BMW. Plus I get a family car and a fun car at the same time.
