Scoot, are you not tempted to look at maybe an import later this year if March 09 is too far away ? Seems crazy to look at such a new M to keep for a year.
In a years time I think we`ll see E92 M3`s for £40K and thats when I`ll trade the current M in. |

The saving importing now is about £8000 to £10000. The problem is though that if it goes wrong where would you take it ? No one knows yet how to service them either and i woundn't want to take that risk. Also i think when the UK one arrives that saving will mostly be taken up in depreciation. I think you're right about the M3 , but what got me going was the offer for my car. I think though even if i wait a few month's i won't be in a worse position regarding my trade in. I've just had a chat with a friend who deals in high performance cars and he doesn't think its a very special deal anyway. Says the market is stuffed at the moment and i'm best waiting 6 months. The problem is then the GT-R wont be too far away. |

Scoot in reality I would say your only really being offered £30K for the 335d and the other £2.5K is coming off the sticker price, now if you could get £32.5K for the 335d and £2.5K off the M3 that would be worth going for.

Most BMW salesmen are muppets. What a ridiculous opening offer. Do they think we are fools?

I actually know a local BMW sales guy quite well - before he was a "BMW" sales guy he was a muppet - now he's even more of a muppet!
