I saw your post and checked the OC...no change. I then called the 800# and the automated system said car is in production with a completion date of 3/2/07. After that, I transferred over to a live person (bless his heart) and got my VIN and was told staus 150, production started.

Steve - do you have any of the March options (HD Radio or iPod adaptor) on your car? Just curious, because I would think that "march production" won't start until the 5th...

I didn't order any of those so I'm not concerned that it is going into production a little early. The only consideration is that it gets to SC soon enough to fall into my time frame for delivery and that doesn't appear to be a problem for now. If I don't make the Patriot on 3/5, I should definitly be on the Liberty for 3/12.

I have seen E90s getting painted, but the last few days, there has been no activity. I hear there are lots of festivals going on in Germany, similar to Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Maybe they shut down the plant so all the roundels won't be put on crooked after a hard night of partying!

Seems that cars are running ahead of schedule by a couple weeks, Some of us early week 10 people will probably not get the March updates If you had week 10 production check with BMW, they are already making a couple of the cars originally scheduled for week 10 !

I don't think this would apply if your order contains a specific option like HD or iPod... They'd have some pissed off people (like me for one).

If you don't already know it, you can see your VIN in the O.C. by clicking on order details. It should be listed there now. Otherwise, you can update your sig now!

My status just changed to Scheduled For Production also, and I have a VIN. Seems a tad early, since I have the 6FL option on my order. Now I'm worried that they will build it too early and screw that up.... I've asked my CA to check on it for me.

If I remember correctly, you only get the scheduled status about a week before production.

I called the 800# today and was also given a completion date of 3/2/07. Since I have the 6FL option on my order, I assume that the March production changes will take place on March 1.

Don't you guys feel the stress level building as it gets closer to actually taking delivery? LEDZEP is stressing over the 6FL option, I got stressed yesterday regarding the engine designation. Well, here's something to help you deal with it. I've learned there are things in life that either you have control over or you don't. The ones that you have control over require more attention. The ones you don't, may the chips fall where they may. Now that our babies have entered production there's very little we can do to change the course of events. Let's take a deep breath and look forward to the day when we take delivery. Hope this helps.

No problem, as long as you use those tie downs. If things go as scheduled we should be on the Patriot that leaves Monday, 3/5/07.

LED, can you call the 800# and speak to a live rep? They can tell you your true status, plus, give you the definitive word on your options list. So far, the BMWNA reps have been very nice about doing this for us.

I'm curious about your situation, because my 6FL option was removed, either after my car was already in the paint shop, or removed by the factory.

luckyu - The option was just arbitrarily removed? Why should they be able to do that? You would essentially have the right to walk away from the car. I tried the 800 number but they are closed weekends. I'll have to call them Monday.

as you can see from my sig it seemed i was ahead of you guys but i still do not have a confirmed production date? i am a Pri 1 too! when i call 800# and talk to someone, they all say "looks like a start sometime in week 10". this is so painful!
