back to stock is the safest approach. All the major tunes have a history of being invisible to dealers.

Yes, if you take it to the dealer with the tune installed they can detect the tune so you have to uninstall it. The Cobb flash is supposedly undetectable once removed, i don't think any of the other common flashes can be removed at home.

After having run with the AP for a few days, I noticed that it didn't seem to be load targeting only: The maximum boost in stage 2 + FMIC aggressive stayed constantly at 18.5psi in spite of the arctic temperatures (minus 8 degrees Celsius) at that time. COBB seems to be boost targeting as well, which somewhat contradicts what I previously thought about how flash tunes operated.

Yeah I have experienced this as well, but my temperatures have not been that extreme. I have seen a peak of 18.5 of boost consistently whether it is 80+ degrees fahrenheit outside or 40 degrees outside.

Yep, stage 2 doesn't use the stock logic.

Stage 2 has less authority to increase boost because you don't want to end up running 25 psi even in the best of conditions... lol

Stage 1 doesn't matter so much because it doesn't run that high boost to begin with.
