I hopefully will be buying an alpine white e92 3 series coupe soon, in which from now i am very excited an just thinking of all the things i want to do to it, such as autovogue body kit.

But what i really want is a vorsteiner bonnet (hood) like the one in the link below, but i cant seem to find them anywere i have found some but there for the M3 E92, Not 3 series Coupe, an i know it wont fit.

Please could anyone provide me with any usefull info on where to go or do.

I think that Vorsteiner only do a bonnet for the e92 M3 (your link didn't work).

CA Automotive supply Vorsteiner products, may be worth contacting them.

I know CA do this bonnet as a option for a standard E92, might be worth a look.

I would stay away from the autovogue bodykit...read that the quality isn't great....

Thanks Ed, i checked out both sites, in which the first sites prices are, wow!
the 2nd site i see they have a reasonable priced gtr bonnet for £399
However my only thing with that is the the grills on the bonnet.
Are they just ment to be painted black? or is there actually a grill you can buy to slot inside,like the picture of the bonnet i posted up

I guess that the second one is just a copy, hence the price and lack of actual grills.

This is the problem when you find something you like the look of - it's usually got a price to match

Ed, I didnt really like the copy, as i really wouldnt want the grills to be painted white aswell, because u wouldnt see them properly, i really want them to stand out, an if u painted them black, it still wouldnt look that decent.

I really want a vorsteiner :/ or like that guys car in the picture above, they do vorsteiner for M3 e92's, if i buy it for the M3, then buy an M3 bumper an fenders, would that work?

I'm really not sure about the fitment between e92 M3 / e92 parts, but I think that the first one in the PPCGB site is what you're after - the picture is a bit small and the vents don't contrast because of the bonnet colour.

Those vents are just painted, see the pic below:




You get what you pay for with Vorsteiner, top quality comes at a price.

I see a couple guys on the US forum of this site, who have that hood on there cars, but it isnt an actuall Vorsteiner Hood, its a really good copy, an iv been reading through there posts an they baught it for something like 600-800 dollers, so cheap!! an it looks exact
