glue residue left from adhesive to put on spoiler.

alright i'm pissed like fck.

last night installed the spoiler that carking sent me. seems ok. overnight i wipe the glue couple times before i went to sleep. this morning i see that the glue has bonded the spoiler but also left a lot of glue residue that i can't seem to break apart. i use goo gone and it was effective on some parts but not all. i dont' want to fck my paint and leave scratches all over the place.

a good 50% of my trunk has residue on it

anything better the goo-gone?

could i use scratchx? or like wd40? anythign would help.
i don't want to bring it to a specialist to clean and that's more money.

I would talk to a body shop person. I have the oem spoiler and there is some glue residue on the underside where it is not visible.

Is it yellowish or is it clearish?

Did you use any sort of tape to hold down the spoiler while it was drying to hold it in place?
