Strobes

Has anyone added any strobes in the headlight or the foglight, controlled via switch.

One of my friends that has the e46 M3 has it like a cops car. Its only for show tho. Sometimes he uses it for fun on the road when we were doing a caravan to bimmerfest.

That is a felony in california, you can go to prison for that. =[

Foglight is a better option than headlights b/c you'd have to drill into the headlights for the hole. Not worth the cost just for shows IMO, had them on my last car, used them like 2-3 times in 2 years. If you decide to use them on the street for whatever reason, be careful -- it can be considered "impersonating a police officer."

Are you planning to use your BMW as a work car on a highway paving crew?

I have them in 2 of my 3 cars.

They are fun to play around with

I've never tried to pretend to be a cop though, and don't plan on trying to do it anytime.
