It means that they can't flow more fuel. At 95% duty cycle, they are effectively fully open 100% of the time. Even if you commanded 100%dc you wouldn't get more fuel due to injector response time.

Tune is installed and the car feels fantastic, which is saying a lot considering the car already had a tune on it before.

I originally had the single stage manifold tune (Stage 1) which increased power everywhere, including the top of the RPM range. Unfortunately, the eccentric shaft failed on my car around the same time as the install (and I did know it was a problem beforehand) so I barely got to experience it in all of it's glory.

I recently repaired the eccentric shaft sensor, and swapped the intake manifold with a 3 stage manifold. Immediately noticeable is the increase in torque in the lower RPM ranage, but because I was running the wrong tune - there was a HUGE dip in the middle of the band and a fall off in power near redline.

I'm happy to say that's all in the past now - more power everywhere, or at least more linear power. No drop in the middle of the band with the big DISA transition and no fall off in power at the top of the rev range. It even seems to have gotten quicker from when I first installed the tune. I'll be resetting adaptations and giving it another shakedown, but right now, no complaints.

None - I went from the single stage tune to the 3 stage tune.

10-4 on the cycle duty,a thousand things run thru your mind when you want to upgrade. I've installed the nitrous and it fun,I have the 3si with no tune yet cause the headers are not in. I can't wait to tune it all,but now that there is a higher potential with the n54 intake,it's hard to figure out what would be better. I've seen one member with the n54 and it didn't go very well for him, anyone else done it? If I'm wide open throttle, are all the disa valves open or just redirected? Thanks guys.

Hi bob,I'm running the 3si with nitrous now,all stock, with a burger box,I know there's Moro to be had here, what's with the n54 intake.can it work for my auto or should I keep running the nos thru this intake,I also have the stock one off the car. I'm also doing aa headers but no tune,I'd like to tune it all at once. Rather than pay for the tool, should I send you the ecm? Do you think it will need more than one tune to complete, then I'll tune for the nos. Thank you,

Could be because instagram is doing the facebook thing, picking and choosing what you see. Sucks.

However all of the rest of the drivetrain bits, including the cams, should be compatible. But I would be surprised if the turbo profile was good for the N52.

the N52B25 profile could be interesting though. It might be more aggressive to make up for the smaller displacement. But I'm just speculating.

Nice find! I dont think those are stock 325i cams, but it looks like they used valvetronic. Those specs could be a good starting point - 349 degrees at 0.01" sounds good to me

Ya know, you should email Schrick with the pdfs to see if they have built cams for this race series. Maybe we've all been asking the question wrong.
