Starting from is the catch...
Having had a bad experience last winter - stuck in snow and spinning on m2. I am intending to buy a set of snow chains approx £100 and buy slightly used snow tyres from ebay £70 - 150 and have them put on my current alloys locally £20 + £20 to reverse in the spring. This seems a reasonably priced option and I cant see any particular advantage in having additional wheels. Matt |
