iPhone 4 or 3GS to use with BMW Station

I'm planning to add a BMW iPhone Station to my E92 when they are available and I will need to buy an iPhone to use with it.

I was just after opinions on if the 4 is worth the extra over a 3GS? I'll be buying outright rather than on contract and using the SIM from my work phone. I have a crappy O2 XDA Zest at the moment so anything will be an improvement on that.

The 4 is miles better than the 3, I've spent a year with each. The battery life alone makes it worth the extra, the 3 is shocking.

Bear in mind the 5 (or 4S if they decide to call it that) will be out in the very near future, although there is no confirmed date yet.

Get the 4 Eddy. It will be 'current' for the next year or so. And as mentioned, it might be worth waiting a month and seeing what happens to prices if the 5/4s does come out.

Thanks for the advice. I've done and search and I see the next iPhone will probably be announced next month as a you have all mentioned so I will hang on a bit.

I'd like something around the £300 mark, sold 3Gs around same time before the iPhone 4 for similar money, so I guess it's a fair price.

Failing that, whatever the going rate on eBay is..

FYI my device is an unlocked 16gb unit
