I just bought 6 coil packs from them for 280 shipped in 2 days, was on par with american sites but cheaper with postage and current exchange rate. They told me the waterpumps will be in stock soon, but they have the thermostat and bolts ready to go. |

My water pump just died a few weeks ago and was looking to get one from OS but found the best price locally via imparts. Was cheaper than ECS and in $AUD and no shipping. Unfortunately no stock until 3rd week of September so I bought from HSY also local to Aus. Was still cheaper than ECS + shipping.
I also found there was a massive price difference depending if VDO or Continental. Even though one owns the other. Definitely going to check out the above links though! |

SOCKET call my mate Michael at Welch Autoparts near Collingwood and mention the name Brock. Organised it a few years back for about $500-600 and it still runs perfectly today.. oem as well. Let me know how you go.Ive been using him for parts for since 2007 and never had to return an item back.

Can't say much about the electrical pump cause my diesel drives it old fashioned by the serpentine belt.
But in such cases I always look for an imprint (name or number) on the item that reveals the original manufacturer. Then I use ebay and google to find the best price. Edit: Do yourself a big favor and do not buy aftermarket replacements. They will fail in short time. T'stats are made by Behr

I've never had an independent mech complain about me bringing my own parts (upgraded or stock) for them to install - they're always happy to provide the service. In a sense it makes life easier for them as they don't need to worry about ordering stuff in.

As someone once said an Indy will weld a turd to your exhaust pipe if you pay them and don't expect a warranty
