I got the Viper 5904 (same as 5902) using the KIBMW and DLPK it's fairly easy to install, using d2d cuts down on alot of wires. I'm happy with it.

It comes out of the box with many of the default settings on the remote set wrong. You need to go in and turn on the backlight and select a color. I'd use orange since you have a BMW. I'd turn off button beeps, and I'd turn on vibrate mode.

not NYC, but close by in Edison, NJ. Talk to Don (6spdcoupe) mypearltpi@aol.com he did my alarm/remote start. manual is not a problem at all. there are ways to remote start legitimately on a manual these days.

not if installed properly. I've had mine for 2 years without any issues at all.

The install is actually pretty simple if I were you I would just DIY. If you have a Viper alarm just get the KIBMW and DLPK and using d2d will eliminate the majority of the wiring. All you have to do is wire the power, ground, tap into the CAN wires, and two brake wires.

Hi BMW325... i just bought the Viper 5904 and DLPK module, i want to install it in my X3 e83, but the guys don't want to do because they think will broke my obc, i want to install by myself but if you have some tips and wiring it would be great, manufacturer said me to call a professional installer, but in my country we don't have any representative or solution to it, i have skills to make electrical installations, and i installed my alarm on my nissan sentry years ago, but it's little different with a bmw.

Any support it'll be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
