Exclamation $198.00 2.5" Downpipes - INSTALLED

I wound up with a couple of hours on a rainy day today and decided to throw the 335i on the lift and assess the installation of the Raceland Downpipes.

2.5 hours later, here is the result.

They fit about as close to perfect as most aftermarket parts do. The rear turbo downpipe was about 2 degrees off from mounting flush to my BMW Performance Exhaust. Once I had it secured to the turbo with the V-band clamp, I simply slid the nearby jack handle in it, tweaked it down about 1/8" and it fit perfect. That is the ONLY issue I had with the install.

Let the frenzy begin!

No dyno results yet. Here is an audio/video clip.

Nice! I'll be interested to see how they hold up...but for $198 it seems like a good deal.

now the real question is how will they hold up over time?

Definitely interested though, seems like a cheaper alternative to the 700 dps we have on this forum

these downpipes seem to be on par with the quality of vk downpipes.
But like i told everyone a pipe is a pipe iam prolly ganna get these because my car is a lease and iam not worried about
if they last 3-4 years. they should hold up for at least a year and thats all i need.

So they are 2.5"?

Any vendor offer true 3" d/p. I know the 3" dyno 7rwhp more than 2.5.

Thanks to BMS, I have the latest revision of the DP fix that takes care of the codes thrown by the DME
