Help! life decision.
If you could move ANYWHERE in the United States, where would you move to?
I live near LA right now. I have to move soon, and I figure maybe I'll move far far away. |

I would suggest Chicago. But why are you moving and what are your
circumstances? What do you want to do and what kind of weather do you like? DO you like big cities or small towns? Do you like the sea or do you like the mountains? |

I've always wanted to move to Florida. Jacksonville is very nice and affordable. I have a friend that lives there too, actually I'm leaving Thursday night to visit for a long weekend.

Matt,
I'd say it depends on some factors like weather, is it for financial reasons, and so on. In my case, it always turns out when you add and subtract all the numbers that FL is an ideal spot. If you desire to move to the big city, I's say Atlanta and Charlotte in the East, even Phoenix in the west is a great place, but the summers can be harsh and it is pretty close to LA. Chicago and Boston (and NYC) can be (or are) very expensive. I'd sty away from TX...ar anything in the area... It will be hard to find the ideal weather like you have in Cali though... |

How about DC? We need you here...
DC is far removed from LA so it might be a refreshing change

how about some more insight on what you want? i'd say miami but only so you can come and install all of our stuff. i was born in west virginia, miles from MD and VA and i have to say that's a beautiful, peaceful area, and the cost of living is still pretty low

I guess maybe if you live in the sticks an hour outside the city it could be cheap.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys.
Here's the deal: my lease is up, so I have to get a new place. I'm interested in a change, so I figure I'll move. And I can go anywhere I want, so why not go somewhere interesting, right? |

Personally I would chose the Stamford/Wilton area. About an hour drive from NYC, 30 mins by express train. Plus I could mooch off family and steal my Aunt and Uncles new ///M5 or 911 hehe.
