Omg this! It's really annoying and my arm is pretty long and this still happens everytime.

I hate that the radio screen is some type of material that can't be seen with my polarized sunglasses.

My only problem with my E90 is also my main hangup with BMW in general. I have to crank the price up and add options I don't want, just to get the features I want.

Ie, if I want audio Bluetooth, a feature other automakers add as standard, I have to add the Tech package.

I like this car but it has some of the typical German quirkiness which can get annoying:
1) window switch position for E90s
2) cupholders. So ****ing awful. I've had normal sized water bottles launch into my lap while taking a turn and covering my pants in water. How the **** can these cars have such great motors and handling, but they can't ****ing design a cupholder?
3) twice to unlock door. VERY annoying and counter productive.
4) cruise control should be on the wheel. my acura had steering wheel cruise control and it was far easier to use than this car.
5) aux cable...why do they not have it easily accessible instead of in the center console.

everything else, i'm generally pleased with.

I have a few, but my biggest one is lack of cruise control.
Really?!? My '07 "luxury sports sedan" doesn't have cruise, but my 1991 base eagle talon did??

Can't believe cruise is an option and not standard on all cars. I have a 2007 323i (Canadian E90).

As mentioned before, front window control is positioned outside of comfortable reach. Do Germans have freakishly long arms? I'm half German and still can't reach without stretching :

I'm sure it was apart of a package or standalone feature that wasn't ordered from new. Not really fault of car...

Now that is a great idea!

I wonder if there's a DIY guide for this?

Edit: Apparently there is!

Some have already been mentioned but this is my dislikes:

1) I agree with the window switches. I always pull down the back ones thinking that those switches are for the front.

2) Dipstick

3) The frigging lag that happens when I hit the gas pedal on my 328. The car takes a good second to pick up and go. Sometimes, it does get a bit scary as I am afraid someone might ram me from the back. Been told this is a normal feature of the car by many different BMW dealerships.

4) the fact that the leather on my driving seat is starting to tear sucks.

5) How paranoid this car has made me with where to park and who to park beside ahaha

I really don't mind RFT or the cupholders or even the two time unlock system. I think it adds a unique touch to this car.

This you can fix through iDrive or the BC stalk computer. Find the key icon, then adjust the lock to a one push.

(e90) lack of split folding rear seats. Can only (easily) get it with the winter package. And then you're stuck with those stupid headlight washers which spray crap all over your hood.

I agree with others that the placement of the cruise control is funky.

Brake lights and AEs not LED but nearly everything else is (LCI E90).

Clunky shift from 1 to 2 before car is warmed up.

But these are SO trivial compared to how much enjoyment I get out of driving this car every time I get behind the wheel.

My e90 specifically? The lack of a 6MT option.

I never knew there was an option out there!

But I don't want to give up a power point (a convenient one at that) just to hold a pair of sunglasses that I always take with me anyways as I don't just use them while in this car.

Anywho, my gripes mirror those mentioned:

1) Window switch location
2) Cup holders
3) Rubberized coating that easily peels and scratches
