Car in for coding today
Well finally got around to getting the upgrade for my e90.
According to dealer its not only the window control but also changes that ODB is no longer fully powered up. Either way mine is staying relocated just in case Now to sort out the other bits

Lies! It's been proven that all it does is stop comfort window opening with the key. Bloody stealers!
There should be some sort of complaints procedure when they give blatantly false info like that!

Yesterday I booked mine in to be done on Monday & told it would take 1.5 - 2 hours - before Xmas they said it would take all day becasue the whole car would be updated - Same dealer; 3 weeks apart & 2 dofferent stories??
Has anyone with the SecureMyCar OBD mod had theirs done? just wondering if there's anything I should be aware of or tell the dealer |

Well I've (allegedly) had the OBD recall done and...my windows still open and close with the fob buttons pressed.

Either way which ever line is true in regards to the coding I've moved my port and even left it in place for coding no problems. Really wouldn't bothered but with the insurance companies you never know so might as well have it done
