Bleeding HVA Hydraulic Valve Adjusters

Hi guys, came across this one page DIY on how to "bleed" HVA(s) which could cure the ticking and rattling noises.

Has anyone here tried the fix?

Seems pretty straight forward to do which is rare with the N54 haha

So basically is this a lifter ticking cure for the N54?

I believe that is a n52 fix from memory. Ive tried in my 335i when i was annoyed with the rattling. Turned out to be my injectors, I was just cheap and wanted to try all available options before pulling the trigger.

yea as I said, its a n52 thing as per article. Doesnt hurt to try? lol, if you are angry about your ticking I will bet its your injectors. Get the updated index 12 injectors to fix this.
