Caring for new paint

I just got my car painted and wanted some advice from detailers about the best way to take care of it. What's the best way to protect the paint to keep it at it's best? Should I use a sealant or just wax it? What brands do you guys reccomend? I've usually been using Meguire's Gold Class and NXT waxes about once a month but is there anything extra to do for a brand new paint job? Thanks.
