Awesome idea for a stag! You's taking your own bikes or hiring?
Enjoy, and get the pics up once back!

We're renting the bikes, wreck someone elses! £100 for 3 days, insured, on 2012 nukeproof freeride bikes which are decent bikes.
A few of the guys have gone for full on downhill rigs, which were a bit more, but I want to get down in one piece. Been there several times skiing, it'll be weird going on the lifts in shorts with a bike hanging off the lift! Still a bit of snow up top though. 14 of us going, whats the odds on a visit to A&E? |

Oh my god that sounds amazing!! Can i come??
I have to admit i'd have got a downhill machine too, what are the prices like?? £100 for 3 days sounds really good. I'd have some of that. Have an amazing time, and take it easy.

What a brilliant time!
Still hungover, and aching / bruised all over. The stag is a bit handy with a MAC and has put a 5 min video together of our headcam footage, turn it up and have a look (amazing what some editing and music can do!): The video clip at 50secs gives you an idea of the epic size of the place!! Can't recommend it highly enough - better than skiing / boarding by a country mile (and i've been skiing since 1984). Cheaper too and the weather is awesome! A few pics I took from the lift below: Last edited by doughboy; 08-01-2012 at 02:29 AM.. |
