I need help...

I own a 2009 328i Sedan. I have heard mixed things about the BMS Powerbox. I am deciding whether it is a good mod. I have also wondered what it does for my car? Any help or insight is appreciated!

Thanks

It adjusts air/fuel ratio signals and timing to net a small bump in power. Also it offers different maps which adjust the throttle response.

^^^ Good breakdown of the functions of each map and the Powerbox itself.

As for whether this is a good mod, I haven't heard of any people regretting it.

No iDrive needed, adjustment of the maps is done through the gas pedal. Tell the car to listen by holding the pedal down (I think 4 seconds?) and then tap the pedal the number of times of the map you want, so if you want map 3, you would press the pedal 3 times after telling the ECU to listen. Then start the car and your map is selected and active.
