It looks good, but i would increase the opening on the turbine outlet flange. Its the same size as stock and that is one source of the problem.
What problem?

I think he was trying to say that they should make a 4 inch exhaust that connects to complete the whole package perhaps.

It would be the most beneficial as opposed to going from a 4 inch pipe to a 3 inch to whatever stock bottle neck is.

Looks good, however, I remember AR posting a catless dp for the n55 a month or two ago.

Yeah it is available. HP Autowerks is holding an introductory Group Buy for it right now. They stated that the production for the first 50 sets is pretty much done.

While AR had announced a DP a couple months ago, I believe they never fully released it. It's still in development or something. This one is already good to go.

Can't hardly wait for the $200 Raceland version to come out and the place goes into an uproar over it.

It will. But after they've probably purchased it from this company or maybe AR and then just make a replica. So their cost is strictly manufacturing and no R&D. Steal!

I actually emailed raceland about an n55 downpipe and this was their response:
"At this time we don't have anything in development, but we will put your recommendation on the list so upper management can consider producing this item. Please keep in mind once the decision is made it would take up to another year for the product to be introduced to the market."

The introductory price on the iCarbon pipe isn't so bad anyway and the quality looks great.

That N55 sounds super nice for still having the OEM catback...I thought for sure it was fully catless...kinda shocked it was stock catback.

it IS fully catless; the n55 135i doesn't have the secondary cats the n54 exhausts have.

If you take a look at AR designs N55 pipe, the inside diameter is a LOT bigger than this one.
