I don't have numbers at the moment. Was going to go to the DYNO today but we got dumped with snow so I had to rescheduled.

I would anticipate +15 or so hp/tq. I just got my first map from Dzeeno a few days ago and it was already much better - Dzeeno's map was much smoother, closed throttle gaps, and adjusted AFR a bit. Already I am happy with just the first iteration.

Wedge is a member on this forum. Send him a PM. Or email. Here's one of his threads.

I told you he doesn't have time for your stock turbo tune.... email him requesting to purchase a Single turbo kit and I bet he'll respond within hours. The reason I'm so salty towards PTF is because about 6 months ago, I was just like you. I'm semi-local to Rockville, MD where PTF is located. I didn't want to do an e-tune (through email) I wanted to actually GO to a location and meet someone who would tune it in person. So, I tried to contact Jake (because he was "the man" to talk to) I emailed him, even went on the PTF website..... something I found odd.... they are located in Rockville, but no physical address is posted ANYWHERE..... and no phone number. Not on this forum, not on their website, not on their facebook page. Odd? I think so...... so, after COUNTLESS attempts at contacting him, one day while I was out running errands, my gf texted me and said she got ahold of Jake through email. He gave her a phone number to be reached at, and he wanted me to call him to schedule an appointment because it was easier than emailing. Ok, so I called him right away. He ANSWERED!!!!! I talked to him about exactly what I wanted (protune) and why I wanted to do it on location rather than through email. He said great. Gave me an appointment DATE, and said to send him an email so he could put me in his schedule and he'd email me back confirming the DATE and then give me a time. SO as soon as we hung up the phone I sent an email to confirm........ I'm still awaiting an email BACK from him....... my APPOINTMENT was supposed to be in AUGUST!!!!! STILL TO THIS DAY, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RETURN EMAIL FROM JAKE......

I heard about Wedge from other members of this forum. Specifically here:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...2#post17050502

And you can see I'm the 7th post inquiring about how I can get a Wedge tune. Wedge promptly replies 13 minutes later telling me to email him. I sent an email, and BOOM, within an hour I have a return email from Wedge, telling me EVERYTHING I need to know. MUCH better person to work with.

This is just MY experience. Maybe you'll have better luck. Don't take my opinion to heart though, do a little research around the board. You'll see Jake is notorious for not replying to emails. Hope that helps answer some questions.

Jake is no longer with PTF - he is with MOTIV. Also PTF is located in Canada, not MD like you stated.

As an FYI I emailed Jake about a tune a few weeks ago and received a reply. So I am not sure why you had such a bad experience but the majority of forum members have had positive experiences with Jake and PTF.

If you read my entire post, you'd know that my experience happened back in August, about 6 months ago, before Jake left PTF to start Motiv. NOW Jake and Motiv are in MD and Dzenno runs PTF in Canada, yes..... but 6 months ago, PTF had a Rockville, MD location. Jake ran that.

Correct.

I am not sure why you had such a bad experience with them...sorry to hear that. I know that a lot of people have had great experiences with PTF, including myself.

As I said, I was just sharing MY experience, I encouraged the OP to do his own research of Jake, PTF, or Motiv and see what he concludes. I have seen a lot of positive things about them, but also I have seen a lot of complaints of people sending emails and Jake not responding. Like I said, I'm still waiting to hear back from his email in AUGUST. I simply suggested an alternate solution for the OP to investigate.

Just loaded my baseline map from Wedge tonight and I'm quite impressed. It's like night and day different between the new map vs OTS Stg2 Aggressive+FMIC . Car ran like a raped ape and I can't wait for the road to get a little better so I can do some logs and dial the tune in.

I would highly recommend the tuning services of Wedge Performance. It'll be hard to wipe that grin off your face after the 1st initial jab at the throttle.

Can you pm their contact info, price, person I should deal with?

Basically these are remote baseline tunes, you do logs, then upload them and email back and fourth until they are good right? I don't plan on doing FMIC or DP at this point, is it worth it for me since I'm only running stg1+ aggressive on 93 octane?

I posted Ken's (Wedge's) contact info in my giant rant.... IMO, you should at least do FMIC. Once summer hits you'll only be able to do MAYBE 2 pulls before you start heatsoaking the stock FMIC. Completely stock I was ok. As soon as I slapped my Cobb on, I was heatsoaking every other pull during the summer until I got my FMIC.

Anyways, you can contact Ken at wedgeperformance@gmail.com

If any mods think this is against terms to post his info feel free to remove it. Or if Ken doesn't want his email posted, I'll remove it.

FMIC should be the first mod IMO. Then spend money on an accessport.

@e92proper. I PM'd you some info regarding a tune from Wedge Performance. You can go ahead and get a tune and then have the map tweak later down the road if you decide on adding a FMIC and or DP's since minor airflow adder does not cost extra for Wedge to update/revise your map. There is an add'l charge if you switch to upgraded turbos or decide on running E85 in the future though.

While I haven't had my tuning done by Ken (Wedge) yet, as I'm waiting for my Cobb to arrive... what I can say is that he's one heck of a nice guy and honestly the reason I'm keeping my car! He took time out of his day to talk to me about an issue I was having and assured me that we would get it taken care of and was willing to walk me through every step. He answered my many, many questions and after nearly 2 hours of chatting about everything under the sun I got off the phone and ordered my Cobb immediately.

For someone to take that much time to go over everything so thoroughly with never buying a single thing or no certainty of ever hearing from me again didn't seem to matter. He genuinely loves the platform and wants to see everyone happy with their car at what ever level they decide to take it to. I'm sure I'm going to love the car once he and Dimitri work their magic on it with all the knowledge they have acquired and with everything I've read from the other very satisfied customers. Give Ken a call he's always willing to talk.
