Fox Red seats from an e90m3
I'm selling a set of fox red seats from an e90 m3. Great condition. Here is the thread: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1216206. Lots of interest so far. Let me know if anyone is interested. New price: As you can see in the discussion below, I initially listed these for sale at $5,000. I knew it was unlikely that they would sell at that price: I was torn on the idea of selling them because I thought I may want them again, but decided I would sell them anyway for a great price. Now that I know I am not planning to go back to stock, I will try to sell these at a more reasonable price. I'm looking for $3,000 not including shipping and paypal fees. I am also open to listening to offers. This is for the seats only (no door cards, armrest, etc.). I also have a headliner for sale if anyone happens to be interested in that. Figured out pricing today. Here is my explanation from the other thread:
"As for pricing... I honestly had no idea how much these would be worth or if people would be interested, but based on the responses I've received here and on other forums the demand is pretty high. I called a BMW dealership today to price a new set of fox red front and rear seats and was told that it would be approximately $9,000 in parts! Mine aren't new, but they are in great shape. At this point, based on the demand and the cost of the seats new, I think $5,000 is a fair price. I'll gladly listen to offers. However, I have already received offers of $1,500, $2,000, and $2,500, and I turned them down. If it turns out that that is most anyone will offer for the seats, I will just keep them as it is clear that it will be incredibly difficult for me to replace them if I ever change my mind in the future. Let me know what you guys think." |

Lmfao, you're not getting anywhere close to $5K. The most you will see these seats AND door panels sell for is $2.5K.

That's fine and if that's true then it is simply not worth it to me to sell them. I told you how I came up with the price, and said I would listen to offers. But, there is no way I am dropping to less than 1/3 the price of new seats.

It will trickle to the bottom when people stop posting just to tell me that I won't get $5k. Maybe I won't, but they are for sale at that price. So I will leave it in case anyone is interested. If not, that's fine too.

EAS just sold this with the carbon fiber trim for 2200 back in October. But it's your stuff you can ask what ever you feel just silly to price yourself out of the market. GLWS

Good luck. I have coral red M sport seats for sale for $800 including the rear seats and no one is biting. This is a bad time to sell seats apparently
Here is a free bump for you. Yours look great by the way.
