BimmerWorld Oil Cooler?
I was looking to order some stuff for the other car this morning and saw that BimmerWorld has pre-orders going on for an oil cooler kit for the 135/335. from the description it sounds like an additional cooler somewhere in the front air path (intercooler or radiator). Anyone have any details on the kit? Is it someone else’s kit they are reselling?
Here is the link: http://store.bimmerworld.com/shared/...t=products.asp I am still trying to deicide on which cooler to get. Thanks! |

Didn't see it in that link. One of the venders (AR I think) sells a secondary oil cooler. I pesonally wouldn't mount an oil cooler or anything ifo the radiator. These cars run hot enough as it is.
Wish I could get definative temp drops from oe w/the Dinan oil cooler. Best available solution imo. |

Hmmm, sorry about the bad link. If you go to the main catalog, and click on cooling, its almost all the way down when you scroll. $899.
I hear you on not blocking the radiator, but by that rationale the IC shouldn't be where it is either. This could be a nice option. |

If I was going to put in an oil cooler, I would see if there is a way to get it to the right or left of the radiator. I would not want it in front because like CVC said, these cars run hot and you would not want anything to make it worse.
Why are you thinking of adding one?
