Oil leak...
So I'm leaking oil... but I can't place where it's coming from. I jacked the car up and saw that it's coming from towards the middle of the car. Past the transfer case by about a couple of feet. It's at the opening of the 2nd plastic plate.
I cant get under it enough to really find it until I can put it on a lift. Any ideas anyone? I'd like to do it myself to avoid taking it to a shop.

Only thing you can really do is take off everything and clean, then look again in a few weeks if it's not obvious enough.
I noticed most 335i's with high mileage leak at the oil pan gasket, oil filter housing gasket, and even some oil drips by the turbo and inlets sometimes. |

The oil filter housing gasket is very prone to leak as well as the filler cap. The filler cap would be obvious as its on top of the engine, so its probably one of the things Jeff mentioned. Mike |
