Holy thread resurrection batman.

I recently got a 12 watch box off the bay. timelybuys was the user who was selling them. Looks like they have several options still on there...

Quality piece for the price for sure.

Mine isn't leather/vinyl its wood... I'm not a fan of leather for this type of accessory.

Like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/10-Wood-Rosewood...#ht_4419wt_989

But a lighter color.

I would also shy away from buying a "cheap" watch winder. Not saying you need to spend $3k on one, but a decent one that you can program will set you back at least a few hundred for a single pillow.

As long as you are asking my opinion (which I think you are) burled walnut/lacquered shiny surfaces, etc only belong in Bentley's and Rolls Royce's. I cannot fathom what marketing idiot is making the decision to make all this cheap plasticky crap that looks like burled wood. Its gross.. I would never put something like that on display.

Or this 1,http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-TOP-QUALITY-...ht_5867wt_1167
It says its 100% Cherry wood. My bedroom set/dresser is cherry so I figurd I need something that matches. Im not to worried about the winder part, I don't have any watches right now that need to be wound, I just like the look. Just wish it was more brown then red.
