I've been told to avoid rubbing go 225/35/19 on front and 255/30/19 on rear but the local shops here refuse to mount them because they're "dangerous"

would I be able to get by with 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 with some rear camber?
You should go to another shop to mount the tires you want. Did that shop never heard of stretching tires???

yes, I'd recommend 245/35 front tires and 275/30 rear, these rims are wide so standard 235/35 F and 265/30 R look kind of stretched on them

I was looking at new wheels, with these specs:

Front 8.5 x 19 ET 35
Rear 10 x 19 ET 35

Based on the previous post this setup should work, but does it need rolling the fenders? I'm currently running M sport suspension, and about to put a KW coilover set on it after winter. How much inner clearance is there?

Should i run 235/265 or 235/275? I wouldn't like to touch the fenders...

Thanks!

Do I need to roll or I'm fine with this setup? And will the wheel look stretch? Thx!

Will they rub? I am not going to roll my fenders...

Considering M-sport suspension or 30/20 mm drop from a NON OEM manufactor. Will that change anything?

I intend on running 19' M359 w/18et front and 25et rear. For tires I will run Michelin PSS, 235/35 front and 255/30 rear. I will have the car lowered on KW V2s enough to kill the gap. I have NO intentions on making any body modifications such as rolling the fenders or any other body mods some have conjured up to make some fitments work. I will mod the rear camber arm for more negative camber and toe to avoid premature tire wear.

Car height and wheel fitment is mostly contingent with the goal you have in mind for your car. Clearly my setup isn't for the guy with the wife and kid and definitely not for the track guy but for a guy like me who wants to mix performance with stance and appeal, it works. You can't have the best of of both with my setup but a little from each does it for. When it's all said and done I will post pics with the results. Stand by for Jan 14.

BTW 255/30 on a 10' width rim is hardly stretch. I ran 255/30 on a 10.5 rim and it was barely scratching the surface for "stretched."

So I should rather go with 265/30 than 275/30 on 10"? And what about the front...? Is 235/35 fine with a 8,5" rim?

I don't see why not. I'm going to put a 235/35 on a 9'. On my previous ride I had 235.30 on a 9.5. and 255.30 on a 10'

This is all subjective. There's no right or wrong unless you're just really off-course. All the measurements here are negligible and contingent on ride height and negative camber.

Sounds cool...

I am not a fan of the stretched look... but if the combo I mentioned is fine, I might go for that.

265 on a 10 is not stretched and neither conventional, but in terms of will it work and be fine, yes it will

Thoughts on this fitment for the front? 19x9 et35 on KW V2 coilovers. Trying to go to a square setup and I'd like to run 245/35/19 tires. I'm mostly concerned with clearing the coilovers. Thanks!

Hey guys looking for a bit of help with my Setup on a e92 335i M. I want to get some forgestar f14 wheels. Can I make 19x10 et30 on 275/30 work in the rear with a fender roll? I want to get deep concave in the front which Is a minimum width of 9.5... Offset goes up to +42. Will 19x9.5 et42 work in the front on 245/35?

^That front will be touching the shocks for sure. Rears will be okay after a roll.

Is there any offset that will work with that width on the front? Fender rolling is OK. +35 or +32 maybe?

Hi,

I have new 235/35 R19, 275/30 R19 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 (ASYMM) 2 XL FP tyres.

As two of my current rims cracked, I‘m planning of getting new ones.

What rim width and offset is ideal for the tires? 19x8.5 ET30 front, 19x9.5 ET35 rear?
I have Bilstein B16 installed and my car is lowered a bit.

Thanks in advance!

Just went through the whole thread and no one in similiar-ish specs so I thought I'd ask up.
Been out of the game for a few years now and looking to mount some HRE's on my 08 335i.

19x9 21
19x10 28

Happy to roll as I'd like to run a decent rubber in the rear.

I'm thinking 235/35/19F and 265/30/19R??

Would ideally like to run more in the rear to put the power down though...

Thanks for any help!
