That M5 is a great car, however at this altitude you will actually be slower than the 335. I guarantee it. Those cars get killed at this altitude. Excellent car but you will be disappointed if you are looking for a quicker car here in Denver.

I don't know you or your personal finance situation, but regardless of whether or not it's a SMG or a manual, it's going to be a maintenance pig. It's a V10, it's a BMW, and for crimminy, it's an M! This does post does not reflect the awesomeness of a V10 M5, or maybe it does! |

No Alfred, I know that isn't relevant to your point... My point is I had no issues walking a tuned M5 all the way up to 140. Much past that, yeah I agree it would likely start to pull on the 335. But where the heck do you go those speeds outside of I70 with no one around in Utah

I agree with you and V about not being able to go that fast in Colorado (or anywhere in the US for that matter) though. Only thing you get from buying an M5 or an M car in general (no offense to those M owners ) is "status." |

So are you saying I have status? Sweet!
Oh yeah, we have cooler engine sounds too, more vroom vroom, less whoosh whoosh whine (both from broken turbos and whiney turbo drivers who's cars always seem to be broken) |
