Anyone know of a good shop in Gwinnett, GA that will retrofit a home link? I have a '10 e90 and tried to do it myself. The issue I have is I am unable to remove the FZD. I followed the instructions here but have not been able to remove it and I don't want to damage anything.

Unscrew where the two clips for the visor are. You will then be able to pull the headliner down a little further and just reach your hand in there to push the FZD out. You can feel around and just push the clip in and the FZD down.

Read through that thread too as some people have posted additional tips. I just did this and it was pretty easy.

You will need the diagram in this PDF for the second part of the wiring. The link I saw in that DIY didn't work for me:
