the reason I haven't been too active on here lately is...

OK folks, here is the shortened version of the story. I get rear ended at a light (minimal damage) and the insurance cuts me a check. I take my car to one of the less reputable body shops to have an aftermarket body kit put on. Shop takes money, strips car, and leaves it on jack stands for over 2 years (a lot of time I was in Iraq). The rims/tires from my before picture were stolen as well as my catalytic converters. The huge dent in the rear passenger door mysteriously appeared while at the shop too. I currently have a lawsuit pending with the shop for $10K seeing as though SOMEHOW they are still in business. After having a wrecker bring it home, here is my progress so far (out of pocket too).

Wow dude. I really hope it works out for you. Maybe you can get additional legal help through fellow forum members?

Many thanks for serving our country.

that sucks, my friend had that happen to him, minus they closed down. He ended up getting a lot of money to repair it
