No alarm. As stated it is very hard to steal the vehicle without the key.

It doesn't go off all the time. It has been stated by people with the alarm that the main time it goes off is when being lifted(towed).

So no point.

I had an alarm on my '02 330ci, not really sure if they're similar or not, but I know my lock was drilled & doors opened and nothing went off, sounds like they haven't made many improvements yet.

I got them to throw in the alarm. It is being installed now. Not sure how valuable but it saves a bit on my insurance.

can you please make some effort in using, or at least try to use, the function?
more than half of your threads are simple question that could've been easily answered by a simple search

Or, here's a thought: Check the BMW website or actually talk to a salesman.

If only someone could figure out a way to show a few words in, let's call it a "title," to indicate what a thread was about. That would really cut down on folks having to inadvertantly open a thread that they don't want to read only to discover that it is something that could have been searched - necessitating a thorough analysis of every thread started by said poster wasting enormous amounts of the reader's time.

If only ....
