272 hp 330i is coming

When I was mooching on drive the deal I saw that they are offering prices against the 258 hp 330i AND a 272 hp one.

Looks like the rumoured power upgrade is finally coming.

Does anyone know if this is the DI engine or just the one from the Z4 3.0si and the coupe ?

It`s the DI engine and I rekon it`ll give the 335d a run for its money.

i agree with you, i cant see a stock 330i with 272 bhp quartering in the 13's stock, and cant see it doing 5.5-5.8 0-60!!!

your very down on torque and 10 bhp down also... i know were slightly heavier but the torque more than enough makes up for that...

get one down the pod and we will see what it can do

I like it the 'Daddy's just needs to be a bit bolder. Perhaps Viv's photochop skills could assist

Quarter mile times are for Americans.

Have a look at the EVO magazine laptimes for the West circuit at Bedford.

The 330i managed to lap within 5/100th's of a second of the M5.

and??? thats cool, bedford is a shortish track!!

but on a slip road going onto a dual caraigeway, you will get wasted

remember i do tear about quite a bit with other cars... a formula bmw will be as quicker than an m5 round a track... on the road will get left standing from 60mph

Carlos your forgetting all about your slushbox again aren`t you. I know of a manual E46 330i thats done 0-60 in 5.9 plenty of times. Therefore the 272 E90 will easily crack 5.5 secs.
