We have arranged a group rate with the Hampton Inn in Ridgecrest.

http://hamptoninn.hilton.com/en/hp/h...tyhocn=RCTCAHX
The rate is only $79.20 for Friday night, please book on their website and use code "CHXASA ". We have confirmed with them that they have plenty of parking for trailers, and have security on site all night. They will also block off a section for parking in the front of the hotel. Please book your room early as these will sell out quickly

Good question. You have meth, right?

With meth, 91 still seems to be ok. It effectively increases 91 octane to something around 114 from what I remember Shiv saying. I didn't notice any difference in acceleration at Willow Springs after dumping in 8 gals of 100 octane either. California is very strict. In OC where I live, I've been asking around where I can get 100 octane. Apparently gas stations aren't allowed to dispense from a pump, so you gotta buy it in a sealed container. Hope that is wrong, but that is what was told to me by the speed shop where I buy my meth.

From the airport where event is held, it is far. Your best bet is to find someone in So.Cal to get some race fuel for you. I'd buy few drums and take them but I am not sure if I can go or not due to problems I am having with my car lately

Should be fine it's not like its drugs or anything. It is probably not that necessary if you are going to be running meth. Just save room in your trunk for a few drums of meth rather than high octane fuel.

I am bringing my car into the dealer next week to get some work done and I need to replace the clutch. If my clutch is replaced before the event I am going for sure. I am trying to convince Rob@Vishnu to bring his beast mode vette. I will know by the end of next week if I can make it. It looks like a lot of PWM kits will be there using up a shit load of meth. I will probably bring my own drum of meth. If anyone needs some let me know and I can pick up some extra drums before I head down. This event is going to be insane.

Are you coming the day before? It looks like the closest place to the airport in creaminz link is the pumps at Willow Springs in Rosamond.

I was wondering if all of you have speed De-limiters? And if not, even though your speedo may indicate faster, I believe on GPS the governor kicks in around 151-152mph actual. My Vbox only graphs to 149mph for some reason, but you can see even on my regular 124.8-125.2mph runs, 150mph is reached way before the 1/2 mile mark.

1320ft 1/4 mile, 124.8, 2640ft 1/2 mile mark 150+ (speed governor).

As you can see in the graphs I am hitting 149mph at 2423ft at full 200ft before the 1/2 mile mark.

Did anyone have problems with the speed governor the last time out, or are all of you delimited?

And is the 1/2 mile between the cones with a 40mph rolling start? If that is so, you would hit the speed limiter way before 1/2 mile, as my run was from a standing start.

Anyone have any delimited 1/2 mile Vbox graphs to post?

Great question hotrod. I just upgraded from the Procede Rev 2.5 to Rev 3 this week, solely to be able to utilize the speed delimiter. With the Rev 2.5, the speed delimiter feature was unavailable on the meth maps.

At the Willow Springs roll-on's, there wasn't enough distance to hit anywhere near 155mph for the 335's. From the starting cones to the finish line (which was probably a hundred yards in front of the breaking marker at turn 1), I would estimate we had maybe a quarter mile or less.

I remember my speedo was somewhere around 145 at the breaking zone on turn 1 but this was after coming around turn 9 at a high rate of speed on the track (not the roll-on) and I was right on the ass of a 600 HP Mustang for 6 laps if this gives you some indication of the distance on the straight. My real speed was probably more like 135-140 given how optimistic our speedo's are. I forgot to check the speedo during the roll-on's.
