Funny Lexus Picture

Does anyone else think this picture is exceptionally funny? It seems so fake and unreal.

I cant imagine a Lexus driver going off road.

Wait a minute yes I can.

All those old people in their Lexus' are always going off road and into my lane nearly running me off the road. 10 bucks says its a 65 year old lady in the suv.

I can totally see that happening. What you can't see in the picture though, is the snobby old lady driver with that stupid dog in her lap, talking on her cell phone, totally oblivious to the fact that she's driven off of a cliff.

It's got full locking diffs. Front, center, rear. It's got adjustable suspension etc. It's way more capable than people know or use it for. BTW, they put some real big tires and crossed Antarctica with them too.

I considered getting one, but they wanted full sticker (87K) which is BS considering the economy so I ended up getting a Honda Odyssey minivan instead (just had twins 2 weeks ago). Anyways, I don't need my wife driving a 90K car either.

it might be real considering the how relaxed the suspension is on the right side. but the picture has definitely been photoshoped since those wheels are still spinning judging from the picture, which is impossible considering the situation of the car.

It may be funny, but Landcruisers are no joke.

I find the cost of the Landcruiser and Lexota to be funnier.

Who would buy a $70k Landcruiser from a Corolla dealer when you can get the Lexus version for $2k more?

I think the Landcruiser, LX470, and LS, have been flops for Lexus. I rarely see these new vehicles on the road compared to the earlier models.

The IS/ES/GS/RX I see 99% of the time.

I was just at the LA auto show. Both BSRP stickers were within $2k of one another.

Granted the options packs may be somewhat off. But I bet you could get the LX for $5k or more off sticker as well.

The LS was AEI's 2007 car of the year. And they are quite popular where I live. More than the 7-series or S-class.

We would see more new-gen LX's if the economy was better... much like any other car

I agree. They are full size SUVs that are geared low therefore they can't get good gas mileage. But make no mistake, I rather have a Landcruiser in bad terrain than a Range Rover. They are just capable and much more reliable.
