FS: LUX kit!!

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
SOLD!!!

I am selling my Lux kit!

This is a rare and popular item that is NO LONGER in production! Read About them here
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...&highlight=lux OR HERE
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...officially+lux

These are considered to be the best angel eye modification! (Brightest) With this one kit are are able to make any color you almost wish! This is not like PMB, it is a double LED kit, that is VERY bright!

I am selling because, I am mechanically retarded and could not install the Lux properly, I also want to try a Brex kit. This Lux has NO PROBLEMS, it worked on KL2DC's car and MDS82 (creator) says there is nothing wrong with them, I just couldn't get them installed!

This is 1 of 32 EVER made! It sold for 140 when it was still in production! Post your offers or PM them. I am willing to answer any questions, so just ask!

I'll give you $100, plus actual shipping costs. It may be a limited production, but that doesn't make it a collectible! =)

No offense, that's just all I'd pay for it, so if the answer's no, that's totally cool.

Too bad you sold them.
I told you I was more than willing to help you install them.

I've already been asked several times about my angel eyes and how
white and bright they look.

I'm happy.

I am guessing the turn signals on with parking lights? Sorry, a lot of folks are figuring out to do the opposite (angel eyes without side indicators). There was some talk all that is required is simple programming (its a regional setting) by your BMW technician. Have a go at that and tell us what you find...

Donny,

To have the angel eyes on, and not the 'turn signal' lights in the headlamp require you to rewire the blinker in the headlamp on the same circuit as the sidemarkers. This would keep them off until using your signal, and then would blink with those bulbs.

I am not suggesting that anybody try this without properly testing. I dont know if it has been done before, but is one possibility for those brave enough to try it...

AJ,

Actually, it has been hypothesized extensively that this is a regional coding accessible by the technician. Nobody's proved it yet, though. I forgot what brought this school of thinking about....

I wonder how much I could 'tip' someone to get that sort of coding even if it was available...

Been urging people with great relationships with their SA, to give this a try. Basically, the theory is that there is a regional setting for euro, usa etc that determines the lighting. I think this makes more sense than actually having different wirings for each specific market.
