Basicly my base stereo sucks.
need an upgrade:-)


This is my setup

Front: Focal 100 krs comp
Underseats: Sws 8 4ohm
rear: focal polyglass

Amps
alpine Pdx-5
jbl ms-8

Headunit: Dynavin e9x

Blaupunkt plug n play harness 5,5m

To the install:

mounted my new front speakers followed B33M3RS guide. Actually pretty happy with the result:-)

rear speakers installed

kinda stuck with the underseat sws8`s. where do i connect the speaker wire after its mounted? and where do i put the jumpers?

Actually stuck here lol. i have no idea how the harness works:S or how to connect to the amp. or ms8.. hmm i know the the harness connects behind the HU. but what with the rest?

Step 1: Overkill (but you have already installed...)

Step 2: Unnecessary (but you ...)

Step 3: There are plenty of DIYs out there but basically you run a pair of speaker cables from the amp in the trunk to the SWS-8s. There are instructions on the jumpers out there... (I don't know off hand).

Step 4: You will have to figure this out yourself. Find the harness' front L&R speaker outputs and connect them to the MS-8 speaker level input, # 1 & 2. From the MS-8, run RCA cables to the amp. Then you need to run the speaker level outs of the MS-8 back into the harness and connect to the wires that connect in the front (behind the headunit) to the OEM speaker wires.

Question is how do i connect the jumpers? Pictures Ive Seen around show. 4 wires..

uhh...are you sure you have BASE stereo...perhaps you have HiFi....does your car have tweeter sails in the doors?

Nope, no sails as stock.. :s
