[turb0mike] Race Diffuser Complete (lots o' pics!)

Hey all, sorry I didn't make it to Bimmerfest. I had planned on showcasing Blu in MBR's tent but while my car was getting the engine bay detailed, some water got in the ECM and she would not start (still hasn't started actually haha). The error code was P16A3 "ECM Malfunction, memory error." So I suppose my car forgot how to be a car.

Anywho, I was going to wait for better pics but I couldn't wait and I wanted to throw up what would have been seen at bimmerfest...

Also threw some spacers on to make my wheels 18x11 et10 w/ 315s (might be most aggressive offset ever). Can't wait for apex CE-7s!!!!

So without further adu...

^^^Still need to clean up the cut. Thinking about using rubber molding around the cut to make it smooth and safe.

^^^Already scrapped the very left fin once.

^^^Sealed all the way to the diff and wheel wells...

ENORMOUS UPS for Fred and the guys at Evolution Racewerks for spending 35 (yes 35) man hours in order to make this baby fit perfectly and be effective!!!

Blu, after being fixed, will be placed in my garage in SB/Gintani for the summer. No more track days until August/September. Gonna make some money at Santa Monica BMW (sales pitch) as a salesman and Gintani single turbo, KW comps, Apex CE-7s, and Full flat underbody will be complete.

Thanks for looking and I hope to see you all at SoCal Euro GTG this Summer!!!

P.S. Whole diffuser weighed about 20lbs or so.

Wow !!! Looks very aggressive. Only thing I would do would be to detail the exhaust cut out a bit more. Other than that, great job bud.

edit: never mind didn't see the small text under picture. Hope you get the car started up soon.
