Check this out, looks like they are only about $60. Can you call the dealer parts dept to see if they have one in stock and get a ride there to pick it up? #14

All you have to do is connect the vacuum line to the end and push in the connector and hand twist the grey ring to connect. (wear gloves).

1) yes you can drive to the dealer but it will most likely throw half engine light due to vacuum leak (don't ask me how i know )
2) if you plan to clear the code with prodede, remove procede, drive to dealer and do warranty work, it'll most likely not going to happen. vacuum leak and half engine light will come off pretty much very instantaneously when you start driving, i would say above 30~40 mph...

with that being said, i have a pair of oem dv for sale if you'd like. i had same situation with you before and had to replaced them from tischer, luckly i had aftermarket dv and now that my warranty expired, i have no use for it anymore.

If its the end of the tubing that is on the intake side, then just plastic weld/super glue it back on. It does not see pressure just vac.

I replaced mine myself. Buy part from dealer for $80. They had to order it for me though. Easy install. Takes like five minutes. $80 part comes with the hose, connection and diverter valve all in one piece.

ok thanks for the help guyzz..
just an update.. and to clarify.

it is the CONNECTION that is broke NOT the actual valve.. where it connects to the intake tubing and wraps around the front of the engine to the turbo area. as this person describes..

it looks like it could be plastic JB welded.. but the person that broke it is willing to pay for replacement.
($152 at 2.3 dealer hrs.. about $400)

anyway i was able to clear the codes with a scangauge2 (except one code) vacuume related) i think my proceed USB cord is damaged / unplugged
I used 2 sided sticky tape and stuck it back on !!!! (VERY ghetto i know!) but it worked..
no new codes, no check engine light, I will report back after i pic up the car, as the part has to be ordered.

they didnt say anything about codes when they scanned my key, only that pads are due and service is due..
huge thanks to you all.
Im glad they couldnt see I was at mfest and was having lots of track/ autocross time hehe.

when they insert the key it only tells the maintenance information not the codes. once they however hook it up to their diagnostic tool however, it tells everything...

glad to hear it's not a biggy!

looks like i lucked out,
the car said the brakes were due but they were in good shape so they cleared the codes and found only 1 "meaningless" code.. cleared it too. completed the rest of the services..

they DID notice the flashing SES light when turned on. they tried to figure out why it did that and called me. I told them i bought it used and it runs fine so dont bother spending another hour "diagnosing it" i just wanted it back before they found the usb wire.

so i got it back and all is well..
and still have warranty!
thanks!

Sh*t I did the same thing and had it flat bed to the dealer with Road side assistance. How much is this part to replace? It looks like it bolts to the front of the engine and hard to access. Any ideas?

For clarification the part that broke is #1 in the picture. The access connector were the end of the DV tube connects too (right after the front air box connection tube)
