335xi FBO + Meth Dyno 391awhp/462awtq

So the shop that's been working on fixing the issues with my car for the last week dynoed the car today. The best was 391awhp/462awtq. Map 4 baseline was 275whp/321wtq. I think the numbers are pretty good but I was really hoping to break 400... For some reason my Cobb is stuck in recovery mode so they didn't have the BMS flash running. When I picked it up the AFR's were all set in zero on the JB4 since I was running the cobb flash prior... Once I get all that figured out i'll probably re-dyno on pump on a dynojet, and also do 5 gallons of E85 and map 7 with meth. Anyways feel free to share your thoughts. Below is the video the shop took and the logs, I know the logs are very short it wasn't me taking them.





Oh yea also forgot to mention. The shop thinks my HPFP is dying. Does anyone see anything that might confirm or deny that? I do get the fuel pump plausibility code but I was under the impression that that was normal. Now that i'm making power again I am back to the occasional misfire... Going to swap all 6 coil packs next then if that doesn't work do the bank 2 injectors.

What is it with recovery mode on COBB APs? You're the second person in two weeks that I've heard of with this issue. Is it something to do with the BMS Flash? That's the only thing that you both have in common.

I have no idea as I wasn't there. I dropped the car off at the shop two weeks ago and went on vacation. When I picked it up they said oh by the way we couldn't load the BMS flash so we just did JB4. I went to load it and it was in recovery then when I went to do the recover it said the flash wasn't installed on my ECU. So now i'm stuck waiting for cobb to open

Lucky for you they will do the reset for free. But, I think you have to send it in.

Sell it and buy a BT cable. Just don't flash Terry's BIN file. Do a comp in TunerPro and only apply the changes in the known listed tables. That way your DME doesn't end up with someone else's VIN, nor do you loose any coding due to possible differences in assembly number and coding.

Yea i've thought about selling it and getting the BT cable but I love the simplicity with the cobb. Still might wind up doing it though, who knows. Really hope i don't have to send in the AP

They had it on map 3 with a 60 additive I believe. Meth mix was 70/30 with VP M1

you should be able to break 400s... I baselined at 245awhp and broke 400+awhp, then again i was on e45

If you like the simplicity of cobb for the bms flash, just sell cobb and get the openflash tablet, i have the tablet right now but will be stacking it with jb4 when i go fbo

The open flash tablet is one thing I will never buy. I would love to get into why here but it will result in me getting banned or my post deleted

Oh yea i'm right off the merrit on exit 27. I go to a meet around here every now and then if one thats interesting pops up in the tri-state section. I'll be at bimmerstock in glen cove for that meet

I'm going to work on that after. First up is getting my flash working then tuning it right for 93. I'm confident I will get over 400 on 93 then i'll work on doing some E85 tuning
