What Carbon Fiber Trim Options Do We Have?

I have a 2007 e92 335i and feel the need to ditch the grey poplar wood trim in favor of some carbon fiber. My question is, do we have any other options besides these?

1) wrapping with vinyl.
2) bmw full replacement glossy?
3) bmw full replacement leather carbon for the m3 which will leave the center console different than the rest of the trim.
4) hamman clear coat (at roughly $2,500)

Thanks in advance for your help.

You pretty much wrapped up all the options - unless you go with one of those CF Dash Kits that have the individual pieces that adhere to existing trim with 3M tape.

I'd wrap before I used that tho...

Ive heard that people are wrapping their interior trims with leather, to match the interior color. havent seen it yet, but seems like a cool option.

might be late on this... but you didnt mention it as one of your options.

I completely agree that I would rather wrap than go for one of those overlay kits. I felt like there were some other complete/real carbon kits in addition to the factory and Hamman. I just can't find them.

Hydrographics is another option that not many use but looks sick.

That's true - I didn't mention it because the cost is very prohibitive when done by experienced/quality company.

I have used Hydro-Dip out of Idaho in the past for some of my custom CF Trans Am parts:

http://www.hydro-dip.com/

They will gladly do large or small jobs, but they price out their process on a time plus product basis with a shop min. of $100. Two smaller pieces cost me $400 done in a stocked CF pattern with a high gloss cut and polish

At the time, I went for it as there was no other way of getting the result I wanted, but with that pricing, it would be cheaper to buy a set of OEM CF trim...

That hydro dip is pretty cool stuff but at that pricing the factory trim seems like a better option. My first choice is the leather carbon on the m3 but I prefer having the console the same material as the rest of the trim.

Actually, I just picked up a set of the M3 Carbon Leather Trim - I decided to go with the OEM Brushed Aluminum Front/Rear Console Trim with Ashtray Covers.

Plus I'll be installing a full set of M3 Leather Door Panels with the Carbon Leather Armrests in a couple days...

The combo goes well together

I was getting tired of the woodgrain look after a couple years and needed a change up

If you don't mind please send me some pics once you get everything set up. I'm really tired of the woodgrain as well.

Will do - just waitin on the new aluminum parts to get here from Tischer - they were all In Stock so shipping was fast.

Then I have to go thru and swap all out. Brushed alum is a very neutral color and goes well/coordinates with almost any other color.
