That's in Mississauga right? too far for me

I also had good experience with Consumer Tires in Markham way back.

I had a good experience buying my winter set up from Justin at Kipling Tire.
Doing the swap in a couple weeks to the winters.

Tho you have to be there early since they are on a first come first serve basis. Saturday they open half day and I remember I waited for close to 3 hours for my swap after the last winter...

I just bought my winter tires from KIPLING Tires ... their final package price came very close (+100.-) to what I would have paid at TIRERACK for the SAME tire & similiar rims .. the big difference is that KIPLING is local and the alloy rims I get are BMW replicas - not like the weird ones they have at Tirerack

bottomline: give your local dealer (e.g. Kipling Tire) a call before you place your order at Tirerack .. you might be surprised !!!

PS: ask for Justin when you go to KT

+1 i'd be interested too.. i'm looking for 225/45RH17 michelin alpin pilots.. tirerack has em for $500 and change but if Kipling can be just as competitive.. why shop south when i can drive a few minutes west

oh, and +++1 for Steelcase, they are great guys.. if Kipling doesn't doesn't pan out i'll go back to see if Tirerack can hook me up. they're great guys but yea go early before it starts to snow.. otherwise the lineup is hours long like ticketmaster

Looks like I'll be heading over to Tires Tires in Scarborough.
They'll swap out my 18-inch summer runflats for Hankook winters for $165 a corner, plus tax.

Just picked up my winters from Kipling Tire on Friday. The 17" 162 reps look fantastic. I had second thoughts about not going with the original M5 reps I was considering... but glad I went the 162 route. The Blizzak RFTs ride about the same on dry and wet as the all seasons that came with the car (so I am happy about that). Should be great in the snow.
