MSD81 DME swap question
I am swapping my DME on my E93 because I bought the car wreck. I bought a 09 MSD81 Continental DME to swap it into my 08 Semen MSD81 E93 I was going to use INPA to read the code and use WinKfp to enter the Vin into the DME but INPA 5.0.1 only have MSD80 and I get an error when I tried to access the DME. I have been reading on the forum and all the pdf I can find online, but I still can't get it to work, can someone help
Thank you in advance Anyone in Dallas Tx area who can help me to get my DME working for my car, I don't mind to pay for the service. thank you |

Hey arron,
I'm new at this coding stuff.. But believe me.. I have a ton of fresh experience and strong working knowledge of the tools and the process. I have Icom, ISTA/D P and all the usual tools in working order. This alone took me a week to sort out. Shoot me a PM, I'm in Plano. Cheers! Dan |

The msd80 and 81 work the same way and don't require another selection in INPA unless you have a version pre-msd81 and have not updated INPA with the latest SP-Daten files.
I have an msd81 I plan on putting in my car as I'm not finding a DIY I plan on making one. I also have all the updated software if you didn't already find it. I would also like to know if you ever got it to work or if you took it to the dealer to have it reflashed? |
