Seat Belt holder accessory

Anyone have the seatbelt holder accessory? While the idea of a holder is cool, the execution IMHO sucks. There is pinching of the seatbelt, keeping it from returning. See my pics. BMW, why?

Am I doing something wrong? Suggestions welcome.

looks a little untidy to me and indicates to me at least that it may, in the long term, cause webbing edge damage. Perhaps its just the angle of the photo but I dont have this in my car.

Was this a separate purchase as you call it an accessory?

Yes, it was a seperate accessory...available in the E90 catalogue. I think that in the long run, this would indeed cause webbing. Sigh.

Bought them too....with regrets at this point. They are so flimsy and snaps off if tug a little hard. Take my advice, don't get it. I paid $50 for the pair...If you really want it, I may be willing to part with it and save you some dough.

I already have them, but you overpaid, dude! I got mine for ~$22/pair. I get all my parts/accessories from PacificBMW because the local NorCal dealers are such ripoffs.

Oh well, I think these are going on Ebay soon.

They keep the seatbelt right by the side of the bolsters, easy access to the belt. They also keep the buckle from banging into the side of the door panel.

Funny that because all of my front seat passengers manage to let that happen. Never happens to me.

Do yourself a favor - sell them on EBAY. Do you realize how many E90 owners have no idea about an accessories brochure or that accessories are available for an E90? This will seem unique and you'll get your money back and more. I learned this unintentionally when I purchased the "flimsy" behind the seat coat hanger for my E39. Drove people nuts when riding in the back and I got sick of putting it on and off - I put the thing on ebay and got $10 more than I paid for it...the guy was like - awesome - where did you find this - a BMW coat hanger - how cool - I almost went to my dealer to order a case and open an EBAY store to sell BMW coat hangers. I guess one person's junk is another person's treasure rule still applies - good luck.
