Yikes!!

How much louder is the car now?

Can you smell a gasoline odor without the secondaries?

I replaced secondaries with Supersprint midpipes. No smell and it’s not any louder.

I was thinking about cutting out my secondaries and just putting in straight pipes from the headers to the resonator.

But if it doesn't change any sound then it's not worth it. I want my 330xi to be a bit louder. Not muffler delete loud, but slightly louder than stock.

Maybe I'll do headers and cut the secondaries out then.

Will u gain much by delet the secondary cat? I heard that primary cat delete is where u see most gain. Not sure how loud will it be if we take out the primary. Can someone chime in and tell us?

The most gain is in primary but I can assure you there is a gain in secondaries a noticeable one and if it's noticeable it's worth it with these cars. I used to beat a 328i by a car length both xi and i both coupes at highways speeds now I'm lookin at 2-2-1/2 car lengths which is alot more then I expected for this

Good to kno this . Other member had done secondary cat delete and they tell me they couldnt tell the difference in performance that's y I am not sure. I guess I will do primary cat delete over secondary. As I wanna keep one of them in place. So my car won't b freaking loud

Primary cats are built into the headers....yes it will be loud. You would probably want to keep the oem muffler....and resonator.

It's a great gain....I've heard up to 15hp. But unless you get supersprint headers (about 2K I beleive), it won't be a direct bolt on with the obx headers. (~$350)

It simulates the presence of an oxygen sensor. A company called Casper Electronics use to be the largest producer of them and was actually shut down by the EPA when they sued them in Federal Court.

I don't think so but you may fail visual inspection.
