Bought these a couple of weeks ago, and they arrived earlier this week (I am in the UK). Fitted them today.

The good news - they are MUCH brighter and therefore a major improvement over the standard glow-worm units.

The not so good news - fitting was a bit of a pain.

1. The spade terminals are poor quality, obviously cut with a very low tech (blunt) tool. On one of the terminals this resulted in a significantly curved profile that simply would not fit into the female side of the connector. I had to spend some time with a Dremel-type tool grinding off the surplus edge material before it would fit
2. I don't know whether the European light assemblies are different from the US-spec assemblies, but getting the mounting plate of the bulb unit to fit to the locating lug and screw holes was far from easy. The thickness of the plate seems to be the problem as it fouls the sealing rubber on the bottom edge. No, I was not trying to fit right side unit on the left side of the car, or vice versa.

The indifferent news - the light distribution/throw is quite high. Not sure whether this is a function of the OEM light assembly design, or whether the positioning of the bulb within the light assembly needs to be optimised to direct more light downwards?

Glad to hear that you were able to get these installed and that they look much better. I'm sorry that the connector wasnt cleaned up a few of them might have slipped through, so my apologies about that.

As for the difference in thicknesses, I wasnt aware of this and from the testing we did everything appeared to fit normally. Perhaps the EU version is slightly different causing tight fit

Just ordered mine! Wish I knew that lci was different than the pre-lci before I purchased the prior set. oh welll guess those will go into fenders for side marker lights. Also wish you guys had overnight shipping
