It's my newbie question again...
Hi guys,
thx enjoyyourlife and others for replying. first of all, i finally bought a 323i series cab. now, i am gonna do these: 1. m3 kits 2. 19" rims 3. suspension, spring 4. 1 -> 2 sided double mufflers I think one more question... I wanna have a m3 kit which you know the rear would only fit 2 sides exhaust pipes rather than one. so should I change the pipes first, or kits first? I think do it together is the best option. however, only ecarboy has the exact m3 kits and they don't do exhaustion pipes as far as i know? or u guys know anywhere that can do these all? i guess that saves some labor costs compare to if i go to 4 different places right? |

Interesting find on the ecarboy kit--despite the zillions of E92/93 on the streets here I've never seen that kit in real metal. Post some pics if you have them will ya. Good luck with the mods--it'll be fun.

Guess u better do body kits and exhaust at the same time, or change exhaust first then body kits otherwise it looks a bit wired. Seems to me the M3 style back end exhaust pipes are a bit different, they are a bit closer towards the middle compare to most of the other after market. Make sure you sort out the pipes before you order and put on the M3 kits. To me, it is not necessary to go to 1 shop for cost saving. Instead it maybe better to go to different shops to buy different products for cost efficeint.

Whiteboard pointed it exactly, the exhaust pipe/mufflers/tips of M3 style is in different design and position than standard E93. Don't think u can do exhaust and bodykit separately. Good luck and enjoy the planning and thinking process.

well i am not trying to rain on your parade op but i dun think its a good idea to put the replica bodykit to disguise the car as an m3. but if you've decided to do so, you might just install the bodykit first (just cut off your original exhaust tip if it doesn't fit right)and then go straight ahead to a nearby muffler shop to do the exhaust.
Arktise92: I might hv seen your car before, are u a regular customer of top racing? |

M_M: I did visit Top Racing a couple times but ended up doing most of my work with Take-One and Motormax. Have I bumped into you b4?

Need Oopz to confirm if he is considering M3 style or M-tech kit. Stock 335i pipes will fit with M-tech kit but not M3 style one.

wow. thx guys. i have been busy selling my old one..
i will try to post some pix after the mods.. yea. it would be the m3 style, which the locations of the mufflers are totally different than 335i one. you know, i had a e46 before and put on m3 kits with ecarboys too. i went there 8 times in total for ONE mod! but there's only that shop in HK with that exact m3 style bumper... so do they do mufflers too? |

u should ask your shop for any options they can offer to you, or ask them to order/ship the muffler if you found any one you like.
