E93 No sound

I lost sound in my E93. I ordered the MOST optical bypass cable and will do some trouble shooting. I removed the carpet in my trunk. There are two pieces on the left assuming thats the SAT receiver what's the piece on the right? And how do I get to my amp? I have a plastic tray on the left side assuming it's under there but with all the convertible hardware is there an easy way to get it out?
