Looking for a good dealership/consultant in Sydney

Hi all,

as per the thread title. I am ready to look into purchasing/putting an order for my 3 series coupe

I would just like to know the obvious question, any recommendations for dealerships and consultants there, that could give me a better if not the best deal.

Now I know, the 3 series is all about supply/demand, and nothing big is being spoken about in price negotiations, but this is what I know and maybe i COULD be wrong.

I am looking for

- competitive price
- patient / "not pushy" salesperson
- benefits such as the dealer wanting to throw in mats/tints etc etc

... ie all the good stuff

if you dont want to post on here, feel free to just PM me

Thanks guys

Cheers

Andrew Jackson at Trivett at Parramatta really looked after me...especially since some initial problems with the car

I dealt with Lisa Barry and Tony Wakefield from Sydney BMW. I was put onto them through my leasing company and got a much better deal than what other dealers were offering. Lisa isn't exactly harsh on the eyes either

If your after a good leasing company let me know, these guy's specialise in nice cars and are not adverse to mod's if that's your thing.

I had a less than favourable experience with Trivett Parrammatta - they wouldn't give me a quote on a car without me first providing a credit card number.

They tried to tell me that providing a credit card was proof that I was serious about buying... the credit card was also a guarantee I would buy through them... even before they gave me a price.

If you can follow that logic you're doing better than me.

Needless to say - I bought my car from another dealer. (:finger: Trivett)

Hey CaptOz,

Looking at the 325, simply cos of budget, 335 would be grand, and an M3 would be delightful (actually even if I had the money, waiting time would be too painful on that one)

so yeah, 325, a few goodies and yeah a good deal to land it of course.

Hey Lisa is my sister.....Only joking..

Yeah can you imagine, an attractive girl who works in high end sales of motor vehicles, i'd dont know what she would get more attention or sales...leading to a good deal in the end

By the way I hope that didnt sound sexist (please excuse it if I did) all Im saying is that a majority of guys go for hot women, and if hot women work in this game, it isnt going to go unnoticed

All this babble, Just want to make my intentions / statement meaning known up front for legalities etc

But back to the topic of a good deal with dealers and their consultants...

funny how experiances differ... i have nothing but praise for them, and they have always done their best to help me with numerous things i have dropped in about

i was never asked for credit cards or anything, and no questions asked when i said i wanted to drive a few of their cars

You must dress nicer than me - maybe my tracky daks and flanno shirt didn't do me any favours.

I guess I'm being a bit harsh on Trivett as a whole... it just seems the salesman (and sales manager) that I dealt with had this whole 'we don't need to sell a car to you' attitude going - kinda p!ssed me off at the time. Probably doesn't help that I don't live in Sydney either.
